Five months after his 32-year old wife, actress Brittany Murphy, died of community acquired pneumonia,” iron deficiency anemia, and multiple drug intoxication, Simon Monjack was found dead last night in the same house.

New York Daily News reports:

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office confirmed early Monday morning that the 39-year-old screenwriter died shortly after emergency services received a 911 call at 9:24 p.m. PT Sunday night. “We have detectives at scene,” Sgt. Louie Lozano told the Los Angeles Times. “They are conducting their investigation. Once we have further information, we will provide it.”Monjack was pronounced dead by emergency personnel. Although the exact cause of death is still unknown, police said it appears to be natural causes. Back in December, Monjack’s wife died of pneumonia complicated by an iron deficiency, anemia and multiple drug intoxication. The two had been married since 2007.

It would be romantic to say he died of a broken heart, but since a broken heart doesn’t come in prescription form, I’m gonna say drugs. Lots of drugs. In related news, if you’re in the market for a new house, I’d probably skip over this one on the tour. Apparently it makes people in their 30′s ghosts. You’d have a better time living in a house that was built in an old indian burial ground.

Spoiler Alert: Conan Script leaked-Here are some juicy details.

// December 4th, 2009 // No Comments » // What's Poppin

So by now the internet has spread the new “Conan” script like wildfire, but I haven’t seen a review yet. So because I like you, love films, and the fact that we have the script in our hands I’m gonna take the time to break it down to you my way.

conan

Ok, so it opens up with Conan’s mom and dad in the woods, Mom has baby and she dies.

Cut to:
Corin (Dad) and a bunch of teen warriors in training doing their thing with a younger Conan in tow. Of course Conan gets made fun of cause he’s smaller, at this point they get into some Mr. Miaggi bullshit where they have to have stones in their mouths as they look for the wooden sword in the woods, you guessed it whomever finds the sword is “Stinky cool dude of the day”.

That doesn’t go down as plan, shit hits the fan when 4 “Pictish” warriors covered in war paint appear. A fight breaks out and the Picts warriors killed a Cimmerian kid (one of Conan’s tribe), Conan whacks 3 out of 4 (yeah at 9 years old) he looks at his dad and says “they killed one, I killed three now I am a warrior” everybody is a little freaked out by this and now we cut into the whole “Rocky” workout montage.

Climb the mountain Conan, lift the heavy logs Conan, Sleep outside while your dad fucks the sheeps Conan, ok the last one is not in there but it could be.

He gets pissed off and bitches to his father that shit is getting old already, he wants some action.

So Dad goes through this whole “The Sword” is this and that speech when….

The Cimmerians get whacked including Corin, Conan lives.

Now it’s pay back bitches.

Honestly people I’ve seen this movie before. It’s like “Rocky”-Karate Kid meet 300 I don’t think you need any more info on it but if you want the script go to Showbizcafe.com you can download the script as a PDF file.

Law abiding Citizen Trailer w/ Jamie Foxx & Gerard Butler

// September 23rd, 2009 // No Comments » // Trailers

Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a hotshot young Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case. Over his objections, Nick is forced by his boss to offer one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice. Fast forward ten years. The man who got away with murder is found dead and Clyde Shelton coolly admits his guilt. Then he issues a warning to Nick: Either fix the flawed justice system that failed his family, or key players in the trial will die. Soon Shelton follows through on his threats, orchestrating from his jail cell a string of spectacularly diabolical assassinations that can be neither predicted nor prevented. Philadelphia is gripped with fear as Sheltons high-profile targets are slain one after another and the authorities are powerless to halt his reign of terror. Only Nick can stop the killing, and to do so he must outwit this brilliant sociopath in a harrowing contest of wills in which even the smallest misstep means death. With his own family now in Sheltons crosshairs, Nick finds himself in a desperate race against time facing a deadly adversary who seems always to be one step ahead.
