Cameron Diaz is heading back to school for Columbia Pictures’ raunchy comedy “Bad Teacher.”

The actress will star in the Jake Kasdan-helmed pic, which was penned by “The Office” scribes Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky.

Story centers on a foulmouthed, gold-digging middle-school teacher who, after getting dumped by her boyfriend, competes with a colleague for the affections of the school’s model teacher.

Mosaic Media’s Jimmy Miller is producing “Bad Teacher.”

Now that the studio has its leading lady, production is set to begin in the spring in Los Angeles. Doug Belgrad and Jonathan Kadin are overseeing for Col, which is working with Diaz on the tentpole “The Green Hornet.”

Diaz is juggling three films that are in various stages of production: “Shrek Forever After,” “Knight and Day” and “Green Hornet.”
