That’s right mi gente, Amaury Nolasco is a Puerto Rican actor who has guest starred on several TV shows including, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “ER,” “George Lopez”, and “CSI: New York.”

His first major supporting role was in the film 2 Fast 2 Furious as “Orange Julius.” When my buddy John Singleton was doing post on the feature he told me how much he loved working with Amaury. He even asked me if I knew Nolasco, whom I have never met and I replied “Why? you think all Boricuas know each other?”

I like Amaury Nolasco’s work from dramatic to comedic he brings it in.

He was in “The Benchwarmers with Rob Schneider as the drunk Dominican player, then rocked it out in Michael Bay’s Transformers, Max Payne, Street Kings and who can forget him as Fernando Sucre in “Prison Break” come on you can’t front the guy is alright.

He’s so cool he’s going to be visiting us here on LatinoFilmChatter next week!

He’ll be talking about his new movie ARMORED which releases Dec. 4th and co stars Matt Dillon, Lawrence Fishburne & Jean Reno.

True that! The Professional is the film in my mind the put Jean Reno on the map! It was a great blend of action, but with major poignancy.
